The Tax Map Department office is
responsible for the maintenance of the official Lake County tax maps and
for providing public access to these parcel based property maps.
To fulfill this goal they:
- Enforce the Transfer and Conveyance
Standards of the Lake County Auditor and the Lake County Engineer
- Store and provide access to all county
tax maps and plats.
- Provide blueprint and copying services
for various official county records including the tax maps and
plats.
- Offer access to other historical
documents, such as, 1874-1898 Real Estate Atlas, retired tax
maps, and historical surveys.
- Answer questions pertaining to
property ownership information.
